Brad Schimel Endorsed by Wisconsin’s Small Business Community

WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Today, Judge Brad Schimel received the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Wisconsin’s political action committee, demonstrating Schimel’s continued momentum in the race for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. The endorsement reflects the clear distinction between Judge Brad Schimel, a candidate serving all of Wisconsin, and Susan Crawford, a partisan activist serving a select group of liberal special interests.

“The decisions and opinions of the Supreme Court often impact Wisconsin’s small business community,” said NFIB Wisconsin State Director Bill G. Smith. “Judge Schimel believes the proper role of a Supreme Court Justice is to interpret the law, support the state and federal constitutions, and apply the law as written but guided by judicial restraint and respect for each branch of government. Based on his experience, judicial philosophy, and qualifications, small business owners believe Brad Schimel is the right choice to serve on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.”

“Wisconsin’s small business community deserves a Supreme Court that sets aside politics and upholds the rule of law,” said Schimel. “Unfortunately, Wisconsin’s highest court is choosing to implement a partisan agenda and my opponent will take the majority a step further. I’m committed to restoring objectivity to the Wisconsin Supreme Court and I am humbled by the support.”

The only candidate in this race focused on representing all of Wisconsin, Judge Schimel has bipartisan support from Wisconsin’s small business community, farmers, first responders, and law enforcement. This stands in stark contrast to Susan Crawford, who is backed by out-of-state Democrat billionaires like George Soros and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, as well as the leftist majority of the current court.
