Two Questions for Susan Crawford

WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Susan Crawford has a troubling record of denying prosecutors recommendations and providing weak sentences to dangerous criminals. As Democrats’ handpicked pawn for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Susan Crawford’s allies in the media consistently run to her defense and gloss over her radical, activist past. When talking to far-Left voters in Madison, Susan Crawford brags about her fight to eliminate Voter ID and Act 10, but when she steps outside of the bubble, she condescendingly sheds her activist life. All fair, objective reporters who seek to accurately cover this race must ask Susan Crawford two simple questions about Act 10:

1. As an attorney at Wisconsin’s premiere left-leaning law firm, you led the Democrat effort to overturn Act 10. How could you possibly remain objective on the issue of Act 10?

2. Not only did you lead the effort to overturn Act 10, but you bragged about your efforts to kill Act 10, boldly professing, “I fought against Act 10” and proclaimed that Act 10 was a government overreach that you worked to put a stop to. How can the people of Wisconsin trust you to remain objective?

No matter how Susan Crawford attempts to hide her past from Wisconsin voters, it is clear she cannot put aside her compromised agenda to objectively serve on the state’s highest court.

“Susan Crawford’s incessant and shameless thirst for power is so extreme that she will say and do anything, even outright lie to the Wisconsin people, to enact her dangerously liberal agenda,” said Schimel Campaign Spokesperson Jacob Fischer. “Judge Schimel is the only candidate committed to restoring to the Wisconsin Supreme Court what Susan Crawford lacks: integrity.”
