WAUKESHA, Wisc. – In a stunning development, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies exposed the Democratic Party’s plan to use Susan Crawford to gerrymander Wisconsin’s Congressional map to flip two seats to Democrats.
Jefferies’ divulging of the Democrats’ strategy to gerrymander Wisconsin’s maps to eliminate the conservative majority comes just days after the Minority Leader donated directly to Susan Crawford’s campaign and just weeks after she was caught offering the two House seats for financial support.

HAKEEM JEFFERIES: “Wisconsin, that’s a 50/50 race, because we know Wisconsin is a 50/50 state. We have a strong Democratic candidate. Whoever wins is going to determine who has the majority in the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Why is that important? Because there are gerrymandered congressional lines right now in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a 50/50, state, as I mentioned, but there are six Republicans and only two Democrats out of an eight person delegation.
The lines are broken, right? As soon as possible, we need to be able to revisit that and have fair lines; the only way for that to be even a significant possibility is if you have an enlightened Supreme Court. And so, you know, I think that’s an incredibly important race.”
