25 years as a frontline prosecutor.
I go to work and see some of the worst things people do to each other.
Children who are survivors of sexual abuse. I can’t imagine a circumstance in life more difficult.
So I got the calls at three o’clock in the morning, and I went out to the scenes. And we made sure that we put that case together so we could bring justice for them.
When you walk out of the courtroom after a guilty verdict, they had the communities say ‘We believe you, and you deserve justice,’ and there’s no better feeling.
